Any Motorcyclists Out There?

Hello,
I am riding my motorcycle from Southwestern Michigan to attend the A/R conference and wondered if there were any riders going my way?
Not necessarily looking for riders all the way from Michigan; looking for any riders on the same route that would be interested in meeting up on the way and riding in together.

Sleeping space 20 miles East of LAX.

Possible sleeping space for one or two or more conference attendees, 20 miles East of LAX, a mile from the Green Line station in Norwalk.

On Fri and Sat, there will likely be a room available for one or two or more to sleep in. On Thu and Sun, just a futon couch in the living room (or you can camp in the wild backyard). Vegan household (no ruthless killing of insects either).

Some (unwelcome) roaches are in the house. Two cats and a dog also live here.

You could take Fwy 105 to Westin, or walk 1 mile to the Green line and take it to LAX station (for $1.50) and walk 1.5 miles to Westin.

late travel plans from Tucson

Vegan Lunch Feast on Thursday for Anyone Who Has Already Arrived

For anyone who has already arrived from out-of-town (as well as those who live in the area), Rahel's Vegan Ethiopian Cuisine, a relatively short-drive (no freeway needed) away will be having a special (under $10) all-you-can-eat vegan Ethiopian feast from noon to 3pm on Thursday -

Anyone there without a car and needing/wanting a ride to the feast, meet in the lobby between 11am and 11:30am -

Car camping in the area?

By a miracle, I am attending this AR2011 on *no* budget! A wonderful lady is hosting me&Mattie in her hotel room Friday & Saturday nights. In case we do not meet and make arrangements with another supremely divine being, perhaps you are an angel and can suggest a relatively safe place for us to park Thursday & Sunday nights.

We are "at home" in the Subaru Forester and we have survived sleeping in it in bear country, church parking lots and slab city. =) Am i crazy to think we can make it a couple nights in LA? I've really never spent any time there.... Please offer any suggestions you have so i can attend and participate for the entire conference. Thanks!!!

Ride with us on the train!

Are you in the Northern CA area? We are all taking a train/bus ride down to the conference and taking the Starlight Train Tour back home. The more the merrier! Tickets are around $60 one way. Flower the Clown offering child entertainment

I am a clown (anti-circus animals of course) attending the conference. I can offer clowning, facepainting, and childcare during some of the events and workshops in exchange for room, meals and/or registration. Let me know-it would be great to organize the kids and keep them happy!
